Sometimes you really wonder what the hell people were thinking. This is one of those times. I mean, seriously, who buys a Panamera?!

The LWB model does look better though, totally fits the Panamera shape better. Could use a bigger sunroof, though

I beg to differ. It is a German name and the "e" is pronounced

While we're on this subject, the Lamborghini Jarama is also controversial for the same reason. Many of them pronounce the J like a Y rather than the H as in normal Spanish. Or the Murciélago accenting the a when there's actually an accent mark on the e !
Also, I wish the article was about a Cayenne rather than a Panamera, then I'd say, "I pronounce it Volkswagen " :p

The J should be pronounced as an H as best as I can tell. (Jesus, is a good example). Lambo cars are named after Spanish areas/bulls.
I live in a heavily Spanish/Mexican state and I am pretty familiar with pronunciations.
Here's a video for the Anglos.

I know that :p
I was just saying that I've heard people pronounce that name like a Y for some reason. It doesn't make sense to me either!
The Murci's explanation is that supposedly an Italian word is pronounced like [the wrong way].

In elementary school, kids made fun of me cause I pronounced it with the 'e'.
Then I looked it up, proved them wrong, and put them to shame.

It almost becomes a shooting brake wagon, like an E63 AMG with the back chopped off at an angle!
